I’m a person who’s been fortunate enough to spend the past several years dividing her time between going on adventures in the United States and Peru.

I graduated from college in 2016 with little to no idea as to what I was going to do with my life besides travel. For several months I meandered around my hometown in New York, saving money and trying to figure out where to next. When I was given the opportunity to intern in Peru, I jumped on it. Within two weeks, I was in Trujillo beginning an internship during which I connected with Espaanglisch, an amazing organization that I still work with today. The rest is history.

My passions include travel, photography, food and politics. Here, I hope to share with you some of my insights regarding all of them. I hope you enjoy as you indulge in this mobile feast of mine.

Founded in 2005, Espaanglisch is an organization that’s dedicated to supporting the local community in Trujillo, Peru. Espaanglisch works hand-in-hand with organizations that are making a positive impact in Trujillo and provides opportunities for cultural exchange. They do this by working with local schools to provide free English language education for children in underprivileged areas; supporting local initiatives that make a positive impact on our community; organizing events where students and adults of all ages are able to practice English, Spanish and other languages; & by connecting international and local volunteers with their students and the community.

Growing up, I’ve always loved writing, and this passion became a theme throughout my education. I was editor-in-chief of my college newspaper in community college and the proofreader of The Ithacan at Ithaca College.

While I am currently working in advertising, I am still able to feed this passion by writing and editing a monthly newsletter that goes out to clients. I’ve become known for my keen eye for detail around the office. They call me the “editing avenger.”

I discovered photography at a young age and instantly fell in love with this new super power that allowed me to capture a moment in a single image. Once I dipped my toes in the amazing world of Photoshop and Lightroom, it was all over for me. After learning all I could on my own, I earned my bachelor’s degree with a major in cinema and photography. Since then, I mainly focus on weddings and photographing my way around the United States when I can.
